Update: Eviction, Car Accident & A Glimmer of Hope

Hey everyone,

It’s been a tough few weeks, and I wanted to share what’s going on. We are still fighting to avoid eviction, needing $4,900 by February 20 to stay in our home. On top of that, this past Saturday, we were in a serious car accident, and as you can see from the picture, our vehicle was totaled. Losing our transportation has made everything even harder, but we are doing our best to stay strong.

Now for some good news: With the addition of a new insulin, my blood sugar is finally under control for the most part! Because of this, my cardiologist has given me the green light for heart surgery—as long as my numbers stay stable for the next few weeks. It’s a huge relief to know I’m on track for the procedure I need.

We are incredibly grateful for the support we’ve received so far. If you’re able to help—whether by donating, sharing, or just sending good thoughts—it would mean the world to us. Every little bit gets us closer to keeping a roof over our heads and getting back on our feet.

Thank you all!
