Today, my world shattered. The doctors confirmed the worst—it is cancer. On top of that, I’ve lost more weight, and my body feels like it’s fighting a battle I wasn’t prepared for. The pain is constant, unrelenting, and at times unbearable.

As if that wasn’t enough, I’m still facing heart surgery at the end of the month. My body is weak, but I have no choice but to keep fighting.

The weight of it all feels crushing. Christmas is just around the corner, and I don’t know how I’ll manage to give my kids the joy they deserve. They’ve already endured so much, and the thought of failing them in this way breaks my heart.

And it doesn’t stop there. With no ability to work, eviction is an imminent threat. The fear of losing our home while trying to battle cancer and prepare for heart surgery is almost too much to bear.
